Recurring back or neck pain?

If massage helps, but the pain keeps returning from time to time, your body may not be responding to a stronger treatment, but to a different approach. In Salgótarján, I help you figure out what works in your case with massage and Bowen technique treatments.

Have you ever...

  • Does the pain always return?
  • Does massage help, but only for a while?
  • Have you tried several things already, yet the results are not lasting?

...and meanwhile, do you increasingly feel that you have to live with it? This doesn't mean you chose the wrong method. In many cases, a different type of approach is simply needed.

Most frequently they contact me with these

  • back, neck and lower back pain
  • shoulder, hip, and knee complaints
  • limited mobility
  • stress, tension

Common specific cases: neck and shoulder tension due to sedentary work, recurring lower back pain, radiating pain, persistent muscle tension. Every case is unique — the goal is to find what truly helps your body.

What is the Bowen technique?

A gentle manual method that helps your body find its way back to more balanced functioning through the nervous system. It doesn’t „fix” your body: it helps it function better on its own.

  • no forcing
  • Not painful
  • works with the body

Many people arrive here after trying several other things — and are surprised that change can be achieved with such a gentle method. I'm going to look into the Bowen treatment

The body requires different support in different situations.

Massage helps relax muscles, reduce tension, and improve well-being. In many cases, this is enough in itself. The Bowen technique, however, supports the body through the nervous system in restoring its balance more permanently. For many of my clients, the two methods build on each other—and Bowen brings about the change after which continuous treatments are no longer needed.
Massage

If it hurts now and you want quick relief

Massage relaxes muscles and improves well-being, often being enough on its own. It is a good choice if you want to relax and unwind, or if you feel muscle tension.
Bowen technique

If the pain returns again and again

The Bowen technique acts through the nervous system: it initiates subtle yet deeper processes and is particularly useful for recurring complaints. You should choose it if you have already tried several treatments or if you want a more lasting change.
I will help you decide

Not sure which treatment is right for you?

Not instead of each other, but rather working to complement one another. If you are not sure which treatment would be most suitable for you, write a few words about your problem, and I will help you decide.

About me

I am Anita, a remedial massage therapist and Bowen practitioner

More than 10 years of experience and hundreds of treatments have helped me understand that there is no single solution that works for everyone. As a visually impaired person, I rely heavily on touch and subtle cues during treatments. This kind of sensitivity helps me notice tensions and reactions that often remain hidden. For me, every treatment is about personal attention—not routine.
What you can expect

What can you expect from a treatment?

The course of a treatment: a brief conversation while I assess your current condition; a personalized treatment plan; and then taking your body's reactions into account. After the treatment, fatigue, mild reactions, or changes even days later may occur. This process is a natural part of it.
